If you can believe...

I'm driving to work today.

I'm turning Left.

I hear what sounds like a train.

I think i'm going crazy.

2 minutes later I realize that my mom drove up behind me going straight and honked her horn.

and i laughed at myself for thinking my mom was a train.

and then i really start to think that im going crazy.

frustration

jace called me when he was supposed to be at work.

he told me that the power steering on our older car had gone out.

he had talked to my dad and he thinks it has something to do with one of the other major things wrong with that car.

jace had to be extremely late to work, but thankfully my mom was able to lend him her car.

i am at a loss.

we have no money for a new car. or to fix our old one. for heavens sake we JUST bought a new car last Oct.

i am frustrated and i have NO idea what we are supposed to do.

my brain hurts.

RANDOM.

my life is a never ending cycle of random events.

and my brain is full of random facts/thoughts/etc.

today is dedicated to my random thoughts!

1. you would assume that being at work, by yourself, with nothing going on, watching your new episode of castle on hulu, would be the bomb. and my friends, let me remind you what assuming means! i am bored out of my mind.

2. i literally think i may have actually bored a part of my mind out of my cranium. i swear in the last month or so i've become dyslexic, the thoughts i'm thinking do not come out of my mouth the way i intend. i blame the excessive hulu watching.

3. i made a goal of making home cooked meals for 3 weeks straight. i've just finished my 1st week. and now i feel foolish. because i've been seriously craving me some costa vida. and my goal is preventing me from buying it.

4. i've picked out some fun colors of paint to get samples of--excited to paint my at home salon!

5. how hard is it to make your own website? any one know?

6. its officially summer here now. we had 2 days in the 90's. at least we made it to April.

7. GENERAL CONFERENCE WAS AMAZING!!

8. Jace hit his goal of "silver" at work and gets a bonus! I'm so proud of him!

9. I need to start packing snacks to eat while at work...dude. i'm starving right now. like my stomach is going to start eating itself out of sheer desperation.

10. Has anyone seen the movie "BIG YEAR" with Steve martin, Owen Wilson, and jack black? we red boxed it last night and jace and i thoroughly enjoyed it!

Busy!

This last week we have been SO busy! Or maybe it was mostly me. But still, it was ridiculous!

I did 3 emergency haircuts,
went to CosmoProf and Armstrong McCall 4 times,
baked 100 cupcakes from scratch,


also made a TON of from scratch cream cheese frosting to go with them,
dropped them all off at a friends wedding reception,
tried and failed at scheduling a meeting with the bishopric,
went to fountain hills on the 17th to see the green fountain only to have it be too windy,


went scavenging for green shirts at target and walmart,
enjoyed the cooler and wetter weather,
i got my hair all chopped off!,


JHB had a show on St. Patty's day,
helped feed the missionaries on Sunday,
have been to the bank 3 separate times for deposites,
i worked double shifts 3 days this last week and will do it again tomorrow,
i have been anxiously awaiting the release of the new books in all of my series (i have 4 books coming my way starting in MAY)
i read 2 books,
and made a few dinners from new recipes!

I'm hoping this week is a little more calm!
although when all is said and done I'm happy with what i accomplished!

Emotions

Last night my family went to the temple. And there were so many emotions going through me at once.
One: it had been WAY too long since i went. I felt ashamed and mad at myself.
Two: we made it together as a family. that was a big accomplishment.
Three: i was so grateful to joe for staying home and watching randy so my parents could be there.
Four: thankful to melanies mom for watching jane.
Five: we ended up in the spanish session...it was awesome! we had to have headphones and we got a glimpse into what they go through alot of the time.
Six: we did family names and they have been waiting for a very long time. it felt good to do something for them.
Seven: i dont have enough confidence in myself.
Eight: i love the temple workers. i just want to hug all of them.

Truths.

I AM LOVING OUR NEW HOME.

I AM PARANOID THAT WE WILL GET ROACHES AGAIN.

I HAVE BEEN HAVING THE HARDEST TIME SLEEPING.

I WANT A BABY REALLY BADLY.

I'M GOING TO START COOKING HEALTHY MEALS MORE.

MY FLOWERS HAVE STARTED TO GROW AND I'M SO EXCITED!

MY LIVING ROOM IS GETTING TRANSFORMED INTO A CIRCUIT CENTER FOR EXERCISE 3 DAYS A WEEK.

I AM GOING TO START PLAYING MY VIOLIN MORE.
AND MAYBE START GIVING LESSONS AGAIN.

I LOVE THAT JACE WORKS HARD FOR OUR LITTLE FAMILY OF 3. (YES I'M INCLUDING THE HAMSTER--DONT JUDGE)

I'M TRYING TO DRINK MORE WATER...AND KIND OF SUCCEEDING.

I'M AN EMOTIONAL MESS...AND BECOMING A "SYMPATHETIC CRIER" (FROM PSYCH)

I LOVE NCIS.

BEING ABLE TO USE MY PARENTS WASHER/DRYER IS A LIFESAVER! THANKS PARENTS!

ALLERGIES ARE CAUSING ME TO DIE THIS SPRING.

WE NEED NEW PICTURES OF US.

I REALLY REALLY WANT TO GO TO DISNEYLAND. ITS LIKE A PHYSICAL NEED.

OUR NIECE GRACE TURNS 5 NEXT WEEK. WHAT?!?! THATS SO OLD!
