Logic of Children

So when we announced we were moving to our new Sunday school class (of 4 weeks..who are 7 years old) they were so sad! :( Which made me feel sad and happy at the same time.

(am i evil? it makes me feel good to know that they love us enough to miss us)

One of the little girls looked at me and said, "Well...why are you moving?"
I said, "We need more room; among other things."
She responded, "Are you pregnant?"
I said, "No..."
Then she replied, "If you aren't pregnant then you don't need more room. So you don't need to move."

Touche, little girl. Touche.

Learned

This week i have learned:

1. we have too much stuff. and its only going to get worse the older we get.

2. the public library is great...except for when i am ready for book 4 in a series and they are all checked out.

3. i need more sleep.

4. i hate having to paint walls back to boring old white.

5. goldfish and pepsi are not a good dinner substitute.

The end.

Sticks and Stones...

Actually just stones.

Yes, folks. Jace has kidney stones again. JOY. {insert sarcasm here} Poor guy.

Jace and I are totally in a whirlwind of things happening...and we have fallen WAY behind on stuff we planned on doing MONTHS ago!
Alot of our "not so much free time" is stemming from the fact that we are both tired and grumpy by the time evening rolls around so we want to just chill on the couch and watch some movies. And lately i make it about half way through the movie when i realize that I need to be packing. Or washing my hair or SOMETHING!

Our days consist of this right now:

WORK.
PACKING.
SLEEP.
RINSE.
REPEAT.

I swear i dont understand how we fit so much stuff into our apartment. I should get an award titled "Tetris Queen" or something. I swear i keep packing totes and bins and moving them out of the second bedroom...but they must've had babies or something because that room is NOT emptying!

Jace is enjoying Wells Fargo already. Hes excited for all the opportunities that he'll/we'll get to have with him working for a bank.

WE GOT NEW PHONES! Jace has seen the light and switched over to Verizon. I dont even know what phone he got, but i got the Droid incredible 2. My brother Jeff has that one and likes it. I like it because its not turning off on me every 5 seconds. Sweet.

We still havent sat down and made our goals for this year. WE WILL do it after we move, even if it kills me! We've talked about how this year is going to be a breath of fresh air for us. Lots of new things...new jobs, new home, new phones, new car (technically we've had that for a few months...), new ward, and new possibilities (getting pregnant, starting Jace in school). Exciting time! 2012 has started off on a very positive note!

oh irony. how i love thee.

but i really don't. i kinda don't like you! bah.

So...ever been to a car dealership? are they ALL inept and incompetent?? i know i probably am just being a BIT dramatic, but i swear! every single person was unable to understand the situation today!

when we bought our car...it had a scratch down the back. nothing huge. we knew that we could take it in to get it fixed. AND they never made copies of the master keys. so we've only had one. which can get tricky! (like if you misplace it...not saying we did or anything...)

I have changed my work schedule this year, so i get off earlier. In time to pick the car up from the dealer/do what we need.

Right. 2 days ago i called and set it all up. We would bring in the car at 8 or so THURSDAY morning (this morning) and they should have all the paper work and it would NOT be a hassle/big deal.

WRONG. we get there, they have no paper work and the service guy doesn't event think the body guy is coming in today! gr. arg.

We go into the sales and a woman i can barely understand is trying to help us. Finally she does get all the information together, unfortunately it took 30 min longer than we planned and now jace was late for work! on top of that cherry they said they didn't think they could get everything they needed to for our car done in just one day. WHAT?!??!! yeah. you heard me correctly.

I had it set up with my parents that i would borrow one of their cars because jace needed our other one for work. I get to my mom and dads and the car i needed to use was gone! my dad had taken it to work because the car he was going to use had a dead battery! Isn't it almost comical?!

End to this story?? My daddy brought me to work, and my mommy is picking me up. Hilarious. and i still have no clue about my car. They were supposed to call me about 1030AM. Here's hoping its soon! (not that i could do anything about it until jace is done with work. having no car? totally lame and totally inconvenient.)
