I have never been on a cruise before. I have never had any desire to go on a cruise before.

they scare me.

and guess what I'm doing in less than 2 days?? yep, I'm going on a cruise with Jace's family.

here's hoping i don't get stranded in Mexico. Pictures to come when i return!!

A new term for Dr...

So...when i started having problems with my girly stuff...i went out and found myself a new gyno. He has totally changed my opinion of OBGYNs. He is not just a Dr....he is my angel. He is the one that told me not to lose hope, and that you never know what God has in store for you. I love that he is religious. He is a member of my church so we connect more that way, but i feel that he listens to the Holy spirit in working with other people instead of just following what you are taught in school--the science stuff.

I had my next appointment with him...my well woman visit. He was sweet and told me that my body seems to be running really well since I've gone off of birth control. He said that i do have PCOS but that doesn't mean that i wont get pregnant.

At the end of our visit, he said "who knows, i may see you with a baby by next time."

Today...my heart is full.

Grace E. Hunt turned 3 yesterday!!!!

She asked for a "Bear, Heart, Princess cake"...which her lovely mother made for her.


She received TONS of Princess things...

fun toys...
cute books...
the mother load of movies...
and...
a pink guitar to be like her daddy!


She was being quite the little stinker until it was time to open presents! She opened mine and Jace's first because it was in princess wrapping. We got her a Mrs. Potts teapot complete with a tea set inside AND a feather boa! ((you cant have a tea party without a feather boa!)) I wrapped them in bubble wrap and i think the adults had more fun with the "poppies!" than grace had with the teapot!


As the night went on, Nana and Andra (me) got makeovers...complete with crowns and lipstick.

Corbin was loving playing with grace's balloons!

Last night Jace and I had the opportunity to babysit our niece grace!!!!

She is so cute and i just love her to death! We turned on Monsters Vs Aliens aka Monsters...and made chocolate milk and ate carrots. Then we (jace included) snuggled on our lovesac with cozy blankets and turned on Cinderella. The night came to an end with some lovesac jumps...and little grace running into the glass door...twice!

We love that little munchkin!

Happiness...

So, i got sick again a few days ago. I've decided that my immune system is completely slacking! I might just fire it if it doesn't shape up.

Jace and the band had a gig the night i was really sick...and so he wasn't home when i put myself to bed (after some soup and a bubble bath!)
He woke me up when he got home and presented me with something to "make me smile". A brand new pair of black heels! What? you didn't read that correctly?? Yes, yes you did!
I couldnt believe it! He says that he was thinking about me and just wanted to get something fun for me. And anyone who knows me, knows my weakness is high heels!!!
mmm i heart him mucho.

Before Jace left for work today, i thought i heard a knock at the door. I went and found a plate of cookies! My mom made Chocolate Chip cookies last night, so i assumed this was her way of getting rid of temptation at her house! However...I just talked to my mom and thanked her for the cookies and guess what?? they weren't from her! We had a mystery cookie dropper off-er! How sweet!!! So thank you to whoever did it! They are nummy.


Today is my day to get my chores around the house done...laundry...weeds...etc.
I got started late because...well i was a lazy bones. BUT already I've accomplished most of my to-do list AND i'm taking a timeout to have an "operation sh..." lunch with my momma. Every now and then we go out to Matta's for lunch, but dont want to tell the boys, so we call it operation sh. :) fyi.

I got my ring fixed and sparkled up again. I LOVE how it looks when it just comes from the jewelers.

My sister Jamie posted like 6 posts that i haven't seen with pictures i haven't seen and they are adorable!!! That was happy.

Last night...we had a giant dog pile on Jeff. IT. WAS. AWESOME. Joe, me, and Melanie were begging Jace to join, but he was too busy trying to pretend that he didn't want to :)

Grateful...again.

I'm trying to do better at not complaining. And to be grateful for what i do have.

1. Life. I'm alive and relatively healthy--one of the biggest blessings i could ask for.

2. The Gospel of Jesus Christ. My uncle passed on Sunday afternoon. While I grieve, I dont grieve in the way others do. Because i KNOW, without a doubt, that he is in good company and that he is happy. He lived a good, and valiant life. He taught his children to be kind, honest, sincere, loving, and so much more and they are the best people i know. He was a second father to me...someone i could always turn to in times of trouble or frustration, of happiness, and pure joy. I'm so glad my Jace got to meet Bruce before the cancer took him away from us. I know that he isnt in pain anymore, and that from time to time he'll be watching over us. Just like he did as the eldest of our family while he was with us on earth.

3. Jace. My rock. Marriage certainly has its ups and downs as you try to meld 2 lives together into 1. Its such an interesting sensation. We have our squabbles...but i know that he loves me with all his heart, just as i do him. And i know that because we are willing to compromise, our lives will be rich. Do you know, he even does the dishes for me?!

4. My mom. She has gone through so much...and it never seems to stop. But you know what?? She is so strong and courageous and good...someone i want to be like. And shes awesome because she keeps giving me stuff even though I'm married and not living at home :) My dad. He works so hard for my family...and trys to use his humor to make us feel better.

5. My brothers--(all of them, Hunt men included). They are all good men. I can say men now because Joe grew up out of no where. They all have soft hearts and I know that i can count on them when i need it. My wight brothers :) are just a little more open and vocal with the mushy gooshy stuff.

6. My sisters. In law. LOL Never having sisters, this is a unique experience for me. I have Mindy, Jamie, Jen, and soon...Melanie. Each so different...and still, i know they care.

7. A clean and organized house. ALMOST! I have tackled ALL of our extra rooms. I now just have to fold the laundry and clean the kitchen and bathroom and my house will be clean!! Yipee!

8. A new doctor. One who is much more optimistic about my condition than my last. I'm starting to feel hope again.

9. Goals. Finishing school, losing 10 lbs before April, saving for a house...having a baby.

10. Excedrin extra strength. Wonderful, wonderful medicine.

11. My Dyson vacuum. 'Nuff said.

12. Rainy days. They make everything smell good...and then make us appreciate the sunny days.

13. Soft and comfy bed sheets. MMMMM

14. A freshly shaved Jace :)

15. An adorable new swimsuit that I bought and will not reveal until almost April...

16. My brother Jeff. For being him, for asking my opinion on rings, for taking my opinion into consideration, and for making me sign up at a gym and offering to go with me.

18. The feeling of accomplishment (cutting Josh, Grace, and Jace's dads hair)
