August Happenings

PACKING = EVIL.
BTW...THAT ISNT EVEN HALF OF WHAT WE MOVED.

ALSO, MY FIRST FRIEND EVER AT BEAUTY SCHOOL (RACHEL) GRADUATED. I'M ALREADY MISSING HER FACE. SHE AND I REALLY GOT EACH OTHER. WE WERE BOTH RECENTLY MARRIED AND STRUGGLING WITH THE BABY THING. LOVE HER TO DEATH!

THE GIRLS OF OUR CLASS. RACH WAS THE FIRST TO GRADUATE, ANNIE (GLASSES) GRADUATED LAST WEEK, MORGAN (SHORTIE IN FRONT) GRADUATES TOMORROW, I SHOULD GRADUATE SEPT. 14TH! AND TASHA GRADUATES RIGHT AFTER ME! YAY US.

Well this week is a doozy folks!
I dont have too much time, so its a list day!

1. We've started moving this last week. This week we'll move completely into our new home. WEIRD!

2. I take my 1400 hour test tomorrow. **esh!**

3. I can pre-register for state boards on tuesday (1450 hours)

4. Jace and i will be in our new ward next week.

5. The hunt family went to Utah for education week and made it home safe and sound.

6. the Jeff Hunt Band had a gig last friday at tempe market place. and rocked it, i'm sure.

7. It rained like CRAZY last night, it was fantastic!

8. ...downside is now its insanely humid.

9. Went to the temple for a family night with jeff, joe, dad, and mom friday. :)

10. have decided that i HATE moving!

Sunday "beams"!!

Jace and I really really love our church calling. We are THE sunbeam teachers :)

They can be such a handful that's for sure. I mean, 6-9 4 year olds in one room...with all sorts of excess energy...wowza.
However, i think its prepared jace and i for future children. We've learned:

• lots of children's hymns...
• 
  
• how to stop a fight
• 
  
• how to get them to say sorry
• 
  
• how to stop tantrums
• 
  
• how to properly administer time outs
• 
  
• how to teach of Jesus and his Gospel in words they can understand
• 
  
• how to fix boo boos
• 
  
• how to console a teary eyed child
• 
  
• how to take 6 girls to the bathroom at the same time
• 
  
• how much it melts our hearts to have a child say, "you are my favorite person"
• 
  
• how good it is to hear the words "i love you so much" from a child
• 
  
• how fun it is to have them see you and get excited and start waving!
• 
  
• how fun it is to have their parents come up and say that sunbeams is their favorite part of church
• 
  
• how fun it is to also have their parents tell you that their child prayed to find something and heavenly father answered their prayer. Just like he did for "Sister Hunt".
• 
  
• how to fully LOVE a child, and how wonderful a child's LOVE is.

Most magical place in montana

Um. yeah. hi.

So, i kinda have this weakness. And no, its not mocha chocolates from sees candy (mmm) or hugs from my husband :) or even warm towels just out of the dryer. Its christmas decorations. You probably couldnt guess that i have a problem by looking back at my christmas posts. They were super lame. And i didnt really decorate my house this last christmas. It was pitiful. I have slapped my hands and vowed to get back into my normal holiday spirit. I grew up with a mother who loves christmas even more than me.

like, whoa.

Here in the Bigfork of Montana....there is an amazing store. A store i refer to as the Christmas store. And here is why: the whole second story is all christmas. Jace had trouble in there because hes too tall and kept hitting things hanging from the ceiling, and his arms are too long that he kept turning and knocking something over. It was kinda hilarious. Anyways its 4 rooms stock full of christmas trees, ornaments, glasses, plates, knick knacks, and all manner of decoration. Here is the only picture i took because i was too excited and i kept running around the place!

kinda cant wait for November 26 to roll around so i can decorate! (thats the day after thanksgiving...for anyone who hasnt checked their calendars!)

Yikes. Over a month since i've posted....

this is worse than writing in my journal. ::cringe::

Someday i'll be able to give you a full rundown and upload some pictures...but thats someday.
For now, heres a quick update.

My Jace had his 23rd bday, we celebrated with the Wights by having cake and presents ((he got new clothes from express from his wife :), a bowling ball, bag, and shoes, a frisbee, and a 72 hour pack from all of the Wights. Then we went out to dinner. YUM
The Hunts had a bbq/pool party! He received xbox controllers from his parents and a new video game from his brother!!

I've gotten even more busy in school, now i'm staying 4 nights a week. Its totally lame. But on the bright side, i'm almost done with all of my requirements and then i'm just putting in time till i graduate. :)

My birthday is in 2 days!! :)

My big brother gets married in 4 days!!! i'm so excited! and i bought a new dress that was on major sale ((thanks to the fact that prom is just over and they need to get rid of things!)) and i got my hair accessory on for half price!

Jace and I are looking to move in Aug sometime, seeing as our lease is up Sept 1. Its creeping up on us and we'll miss our first house. But we are excited to move on.

So there it is...a quick update on our lives. I promise, this blog will pick back up when i can get back to my normal life. It will be better!
